Hotel Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Manager to join our team at Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham West Edmonton. As a Hotel Manager, you will be responsible for the overall operation of the hotel, ensuring that all aspects of the business are running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Management: Supervise and manage a team of staff, including front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance personnel.
  • Operations: Develop and implement policies and procedures for daily operations, including budgeting and financial management.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that all guests receive exceptional service and that their needs are met.
  • Staff Development: Recruit, train, and develop staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve any issues that may arise, including guest complaints and staff conflicts.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a hotel management role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
