Job Overview

Ontario Power Generation (OPG) is seeking a highly skilled and strategic professional to join our team as a Workplace Planning Specialist. This exciting opportunity will involve providing expert space planning and design services to support the company's operations and growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective space planning strategies to optimize office accommodation and facilities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and develop solutions that meet those needs.
  • Design and plan office spaces to promote productivity, collaboration, and employee well-being.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of space allocation, furniture, and equipment.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures related to space management and facilities planning.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in space planning and design.
Requirements
  • 3-year degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architectural Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in commercial space planning and design.
  • Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and other design software.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
