Job Title: Workplace/Space Planning Specialist

Ontario Power Generation (OPG) is seeking a skilled and strategic professional to join our team as a Workplace/Space Planning Specialist. This exciting opportunity will involve providing space planning and design services to support the company's public outreach, engagement, and education efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective space planning and design strategies to meet customer and business needs.
  • Plan and organize office accommodation and other space design work, including furniture and furnishings, to ensure compliance with corporate standards and policies.
  • Operate computerized drafting systems and tools to create detailed drawings and specifications.
  • Maintain project data and records, including drawings and cost estimates.
  • Participate in the development of standards, procedures, and policies related to space allocation and design.
  • Ensure that furniture and furnishings are processed in accordance with established procedures and response guidelines.
Requirements:
  • 3-year degree or diploma in Interior Design or Architectural Technology or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated understanding and experience with AutoCad.
  • AutoCad certification is an asset.
  • 2+ years' experience in commercial space planning is an asset.
  • Valid G Drivers' License required.
  • Proficient in MS Office - PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word.
