We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workplace/Space Planning Specialist to join our team at Ontario Power Generation. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for providing expert space planning and design services to support the company's business objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement space planning strategies to optimize office layouts and improve productivity.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and develop solutions that meet those needs.
- Design and implement office layouts, including furniture and equipment selection, to create a functional and comfortable work environment.
- Conduct space utilization studies to identify opportunities for improvement and develop recommendations for space optimization.
- Develop and maintain space management policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Provide training and support to employees on space management best practices.
- 3-year degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architectural Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in commercial space planning, preferably in a facilities management role.
- Strong knowledge of space planning principles, design software, and project management techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
