Compensation Package

We're committed to offering a highly competitive salary package designed to support your professional and personal development. Estimated annual salary: £80,000 - £120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Job Description

Main Responsibilities

  1. Deliver high-quality consulting services such as strategic planning, business planning, feasibility studies, process improvement, and analytical studies to empower our clients' success.
  2. Lead multiple projects and project managers for the Performance Improvement & Operational Excellence team to drive results-oriented outcomes.
  3. Plan, conduct, and provide leadership in data collection through primary, secondary, comparative, and best practice research, including interviews, focus groups, facilitated workshops, surveys, review of client data, direct observation, published reports, internet research, and direct contacts.
  4. Execute financial modeling, business planning, feasibility studies, strategic planning, operational planning, program reviews, program redesigns, and other forms of project-based management consulting assignments.
  5. Accountable for managing project financials (use of resources, budgets, WIP, timely billing, collection, variance recognition).
  6. Facilitate collaboration with client engagement teams prior to commencement of client work to discuss roles and responsibilities, risk areas, and project metrics.
  7. Think strategically about client needs by quickly gaining an understanding of their business, organization, operating environment, and key risks.
  8. Maintain high-quality control by reviewing work done from other team members for accuracy and completeness.
  9. Monitor project timelines against targets, adjust where necessary, and advise clients of project status and seek clarification on discrepancies, where applicable.
  10. Promote MNP advisory services through the delivery of presentations, writing articles, facilitating workshops, or participating in community activities.
  11. Raise awareness of MNP through discussions at community events, including client and company-sponsored functions.
  12. Network in the local business community and consider business development opportunities.
  13. Assist in and support ongoing improvements in project methods and development of technical knowledge.
  14. Support the promotion of MNP Consulting through the development of presentations, articles, workshops, or participating in community activities.
  15. Mentor, motivate, and coach team members towards professional and personal development by setting clear expectations, providing feedback, and addressing performance issues promptly.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A bachelor's degree in business, technology, engineering, or a related field.
  • Completion of a master's degree in business is considered an asset.
  • 7 to 10 years of consulting experience, ideally in a client service environment.
  • Completion of a Certified Management Consultant Certification and/or Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt Certification are considered an asset.
  • Experience in project problem diagnosis, solution development, client communications, decision making, documentation, managing client expectations, project profitability, and team leadership.
