About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Red Satay Dieppe Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the expectations of our customers.
  • Lead a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure seamless food preparation and service.
  • Manage kitchen inventory, supplies, and equipment to maintain efficiency and quality.
  • Train and mentor staff to improve their culinary skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with our management team to develop and implement new menu items and promotions.
  • Ensure that all food safety and sanitation standards are met and maintained.
  • Monitor and control kitchen expenses to meet budgetary requirements.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a head cook or executive chef in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Proven track record of menu development and implementation.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Ability to train and mentor staff.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Working Conditions
  • Work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
  • Work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Work under pressure to meet deadlines.
