Job Summary:

Nexus Systems Group Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Telecom Network Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our network infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing network solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and validate network solutions between cloud platforms and contact centers, ensuring optimal traffic flow and service quality.
  • Develop and implement call routing solutions for telco SIP trunks, on-premises PBX systems, and cloud platforms.
  • Build and maintain lab environments for proof-of-concept testing.
  • Participate in migration planning, methodology development, and process improvement for cloud transformation projects.
  • Troubleshoot issues in production environments and provide root cause analysis and resolution.
  • Update inventory and prepare documentation for production systems.
  • Develop security design documents, high-level design documents, and present solutions to architecture review boards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines.

Candidate Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on SIP protocol, HMR, call routing, dial plans, and telco SIP trunks.
  • 5+ years of experience in cloud connectivity models for CCaaS solutions, MPLS, SDWAN, WebRTC, and QoS.
  • 3+ years of experience in on-prem Avaya Contact Center to CCaaS migration projects in large enterprise contact center environments.
  • Understanding of integration with on-prem systems, such as Verint Recording, WFM, Biometrics, and Cisco CUCM.

  • Ability to automate manual processes using scripts.
  • Experience in business case development and cost-benefit analysis.
