We are seeking an experienced Data Credit Risk Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee credit operations, develop credit policies, and manage risk for our financing programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Regularly monitor and manage credit reports for customers, ensuring all reports are up-to-date and accurate.
  • Conduct thorough credit checks using internal and external tools, including credit bureaus, to assess clients' creditworthiness.
  • Analyze credit reports and other relevant data to assess the risk involved in lending or extending credit.
  • Evaluate the credit risk of clients and applicants by reviewing their financial history, current financial condition, and potential for repayment.
  • Collaborate closely with other departments (such as sales, finance, and risk management) to assess credit situations and make informed decisions, clearly communicating findings and recommendations to relevant teams.
  • Prepare and present detailed credit reports and summaries for senior management and stakeholders, assisting in developing strategies to mitigate risk.
  • Reach out to clients to gather information, clarify discrepancies, and communicate any concerns related to their creditworthiness.
  • Ensure all credit activities adhere to relevant regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, financial regulations, and credit management best practices to continuously improve the company's credit evaluation processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; or a relevant master's degree preferred
  • At least 1+ years of experience in commercial credit analysis
  • Excellent analytical and decision-making skills
  • Proficient in financial modeling and risk assessment techniques
  • Experience with credit management and CRM systems
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with asset-based lending practices

Estimated Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum
