Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Risk Manager to oversee credit operations, develop credit policies, and manage risk for our financing programs at Charger Logistics Inc., a world-class asset-based carrier with locations across North America.

The ideal candidate will regularly monitor and manage credit reports for customers, ensuring they are up to date and accurate. Conduct thorough credit checks using internal and external tools, including credit bureaus, to assess clients' creditworthiness. Analyze credit reports and other relevant data to evaluate the risk involved in lending or extending credit.

This role requires the ability to evaluate the credit risk of clients and applicants by reviewing their financial history, current financial condition, and potential for repayment. Work closely with other departments, such as sales, finance, and risk management, to assess credit situations and make informed decisions. Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to relevant teams.

Duties include preparing and presenting detailed credit reports and summaries for senior management and stakeholders. Assist in developing strategies to mitigate risk. Reach out to clients to gather information, clarify discrepancies, and communicate any concerns related to their creditworthiness. Ensure all credit activities adhere to relevant regulatory requirements and internal policies.

A strong background in commercial credit analysis, risk assessment techniques, and financial modeling is required. Experience with credit management and CRM systems, as well as excellent analytical and decision-making skills, is necessary. Proficient communication and negotiation skills are also essential for success in this role.
