At Charger Logistics Inc., a leading asset-based carrier with operations across North America, we're seeking an experienced Senior Credit Risk Analyst to join our team.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will oversee credit operations, develop credit policies, and manage risk for our financing programs. We offer a competitive salary of $**$80,000 - $110,000 per year**, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive healthcare benefit package and opportunities for career growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and manage credit reports for customers, ensuring up-to-date and accurate information.
  • Conduct thorough credit checks using internal and external tools, including credit bureaus, to assess clients' creditworthiness.
  • Analyze credit reports and other relevant data to assess the risk involved in lending or extending credit.
  • Evaluate the credit risk of clients and applicants by reviewing their financial history, current financial condition, and potential for repayment.
  • Work closely with other departments (such as sales, finance, and risk management) to assess credit situations and make informed decisions.
  • Prepare and present detailed credit reports and summaries for senior management and stakeholders, assisting in developing strategies to mitigate risk.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to gather information, clarify discrepancies, and address concerns related to their creditworthiness.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies governing credit activities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; a master's degree is preferred.
  • At least 1+ years of experience in commercial credit analysis.
  • Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and risk assessment techniques.
  • Experience with credit management and CRM systems.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with asset-based lending practices.
