Job Summary

The University of Calgary is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Medical Oncology Clinical and Research Fellow to join our team at the Tom Baker Cancer Centre/Arthur JE Child Comprehensive Cancer Centre.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct clinical research in genitourinary cancers under the supervision of Dr. Winson Cheung and Dr. Steven Yip.
  • Develop and implement real-world evidence projects utilizing the wealth of databases housed at the centre.
  • Participate in trial protocol development and late-phase clinical trials.
  • Collaborate with the Oncology Outcomes (O2) and Precision Oncology and Experimental Therapeutics (POET) programs.

Requirements

  • Recognized medical degree and valid Alberta medical practice permit.
  • Completed clinical training in medical oncology (preferable within 5 years).
  • Clear research aims and objectives.
