Movado Group is a leading watch and jewelry retailer seeking a highly skilled Assistant Store Manager to join our team at the Ontario Mills Premium Outlets in Ontario, CA.

About the Role

The Assistant Store Manager will assist the Store Manager in all aspects of store operations, driving sales, customer service, management, and training of staff. In the absence of the Store Manager, this role acts as the leader of the store.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales growth by achieving or exceeding personal sales goals established by the Store Manager and developing a comprehensive knowledge of merchandise.
  • Open and close the store according to schedule.
  • Support the Store Manager in achieving financial objectives for the store.
  • Cultivate exceptional customer service skills among employees, ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers.
  • Coach and train store personnel to help them achieve their personal sales goals.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional working environment.
  • Ensure accurate ticketing, proper display, and cleanliness of merchandise.
  • Provide watch services, including sizing and battery changes as needed.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years of retail management experience.
  • Experience in watch, jewelry, fashion, accessories, cosmetics, specialty, and/or luxury retail is strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational and detail-oriented abilities.
  • Intermediate computer skills, including MS Office (Word/Excel).
  • Flexibility to work variable schedules, including weekends and evenings.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. Additional benefits may include health insurance, retirement plans, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
