Job Title: Occupational Safety Coordinator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Occupational Safety Coordinator to join our team at EVRAZ North America. As an Occupational Safety Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring a safe working environment for our employees and minimizing the risk of accidents and injuries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
  • Provide training and education to employees on safety procedures and protocols.
  • Investigate incidents and near-miss events to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement environmental sustainability initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years

Work Environment:

This is a permanent position with a 40-hour workweek. The work language is English.
