Occupational Health and Safety Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Safety Coordinator to join our team at EVRAZ North America. As a key member of our safety team, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to minimize risks and hazards in the workplace.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with employees, supervisors, and management to promote a culture of safety and wellness.
- Provide training and education on safety procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Investigate and report all incidents and near-miss events to identify root causes and implement preventive measures.
Requirements:
- Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years.
Working Conditions:
- Work Term: Permanent.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 40 hours per week.
