Occupational Health and Safety Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Occupational Health and Safety Specialist to join our team at EVRAZ North America. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment for all employees and promoting a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to minimize risks and hazards in the workplace.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement.
- Provide training and education to employees on safety procedures and protocols.
- Collaborate with management and employees to promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
- Monitor and report on safety metrics and performance indicators.
Requirements:
- Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years.
Working Conditions:
- Work Term: Permanent.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 40 hours per week.
