Job Description

We are seeking a visionary and experienced Head of School to lead our Alberta Accredited International Schools. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving academic excellence, fostering a positive school culture, and ensuring the success of our students.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Leadership and Vision: Provide strategic leadership and direction to the school, aligning with our mission and values.
  2. Academic Excellence: Foster a culture of academic excellence, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning practices across the school.
  3. Staff Development: Support the growth and development of our staff, providing opportunities for professional learning and collaboration.
  4. Student Success: Ensure the success of our students, providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  5. Community Engagement: Build strong relationships with our parent community, fostering a sense of belonging and partnership.
Requirements
  1. Leadership Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in an international school setting.
  2. Teaching Experience: Proven teaching experience, with a strong understanding of curriculum design and implementation.
  3. Qualifications: Familiarity with the Alberta educational framework or eligibility to meet Alberta's teacher and leadership certification standards.
  4. Language Skills: Proficiency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with staff, students, and parents.
