SEARCH FOR HEAD OF SCHOOL

HEAD OF SCHOOL The Canadian School Group (CSG) offers a binational curriculum from Early Years to High School, following Alberta and Mexican educational frameworks in an English immersive ambiance.

We are on the lookout for an energetic Head of School to take charge of a proficient, experienced, and cooperative team.


SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  1. Visible leadership within the school - a positive and prominent role model.
  2. Providing instructional leadership that fosters triumph for every student.
  3. Guiding teachers, students, and support staff by leveraging established skills to pinpoint areas for enhancement and strengths, ensuring continuous progress towards student success.
  4. Backing and guiding staff in executing top-notch instructional and evaluation techniques, as well as steering collaborative teamwork.
  5. Demonstrating robust managerial competencies - proactiveness, financial planning, budgeting, scheduling, curriculum planning, policy development, and implementing school frameworks.
  6. Highly adept in communication skills.
  7. Dedication to constructing a learning community among all stakeholders.
  8. Proficient in current and effective application of an inclusive education model.
  9. A track record of backing new educators and incorporating teachers new to the institution or curriculum.
  10. Proficient in handling diverse English Language Learner (ELL) needs and Second Language programs.

REQUIREMENTS
  1. Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience with K to 12 involvement.
  2. Prior experience as a Principal or Assistant Principal within a culturally diverse and multi-lingual environment.
  3. Familiarity with the Alberta educational framework or eligibility to meet Alberta's teacher and leadership certification standards.
  4. Experience in international education is an advantage.
  5. Desirable but not mandatory proficiency in Spanish.
