Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Mount Royal Hotel. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate new cooking techniques and new equipment to cooking staff
  • Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of food
  • Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff
  • Prepare and cook food on a regular basis, or for special guests or functions
  • Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities of several restaurants
  • Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Permanent position
  • English language proficiency
  • 30 to 40 hours per week
Work Environment:

Our kitchen is a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and ability to work under pressure are essential. You will be required to stand for extended periods and work in a team environment.
