Arcadis is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Canadian Buildings Engineering division, in our "Places" Global Business Area (GBA).

This position reports to the Canadian Business Area Director.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement the Places strategy to ensure service quality delivery, service excellence, and profitable growth within the unit.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team of senior specialists by recruiting, setting objectives, and reviewing performance.
  • Develop and implement the business plan for the unit, ensuring the team understands its role in achieving the plan.
  • Identify and target clients through delivery of service excellence to drive organic revenue growth.

Requirements:

  • Licensed Professional Engineer in Canada with at least 10+ years of experience leading and growing a significant business function.
  • Proven leadership capability, inspiring multi-disciplinary teams around a common purpose.
  • High level of intellectual, professional, and interpersonal agility and flexibility.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to collaborate at all levels of the organization.
  • Technical knowledge to recognize and manage risk in running a design-led Business Unit.
  • Well-developed commercial skills, with a sound knowledge of the industry and demonstrated entrepreneurial behavior.
