Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Primary Health Care Nurse Specialist. This role involves providing health education and care to individuals, promoting wellness, prevention of disease and/or disability, and the management of chronic diseases/conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Primary Health Care Nurse Specialist, you will work as an advocate on behalf of the client to ensure the appropriate links/referrals to other human services that would enable the client to achieve their health goals. You will also provide critical thinking, decision-making, problem-solving, and crisis management skills in a community health setting.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need a Graduate of approved Registered Nursing education program, preferably a Bachelor of Nursing degree. You must also be a member in good standing with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba. A minimum of five (5) years' experience working as a Registered Nurse, with at least three (3) years' experience working in a community health setting, is required. Additionally, you should have knowledge and experience working with students and/or volunteers, current CPR certification at Basic Rescuer Level, and proven ability to work within an interdisciplinary team environment.

An estimated salary for this position is $43,194 - $52,486 per year. This estimate is based on the salary range provided in the job description and assuming a location in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
