Salary Information

The estimated salary for this position is between $80,000 and $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. This figure includes the annual base hours worked, as well as additional compensation for overtime and benefits.

Job Description

As a Critical Care Nurse, you will be responsible for providing professional registered nursing services for patients, including those with complex and unpredictable health needs. Your duties will include:

  • Providing independent nursing services, administering prescribed medical treatments, and leading the healthcare team in delivering high-quality patient care.
  • Coordinating patient care and discharge, working closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless transitions and optimal outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program required.
  • Scope of practice as documented in the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA)/Registered Psychiatric Nurses Act.
  • Ability to perform independently and as a member of the healthcare team, with a strong focus on teamwork, communication, and collaboration.

This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check, and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment.
