Claims Adjuster

We are seeking a skilled Claims Adjuster to join our team at GGB - Global. As a Claims Adjuster, you will be responsible for providing exceptional claims service and advocacy to our clients, maintaining and exceeding the service standards of our Claims division.
Key Responsibilities- Intake of clients' new claims and reporting to the insurance company
- Provide claims counselling as required to insureds in a professional and compassionate manner
- Advocate on claims, as needed, on client's behalf with insurers
- Data input using the W5 claims system
- Maintain, coordinate and update client documents, including Word summaries and Excel spreadsheets
- Lead claim analysis meetings with commercial clients and/or Client Solutions Team
- Connect with the Client Solutions Team, adjusters and insureds with respect to open claims
- Collaborate with Loss Control Adjusters to establish or modify existing programs
- Liaise between insured and insurance carrier during settlement negotiations when required
- Document and action incoming communication in a timely fashion
- Mentor new team members and facilitate onboarding within the claims department
- You have Claims Adjusting experience or Broking including Claims Advocacy
- CIP designation an asset or courses completed towards designation
- Prior Commercial Insurance and/or Claims experience required
- Comprehensive and effective verbal/written communication skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multi-task between a variety of tasks, projects, and deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products
- Experience with an electronic filing system an asset
