About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Landscaping Supervisor to join our team at Norse Landscapes Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our landscaping services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule Work: Plan and coordinate the work schedules of our team members to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Plan and Direct Grounds Maintenance: Develop and implement plans for the maintenance of our clients' properties, including lawn care, pruning, and other landscaping tasks.
  • Plan, Manage and Supervise Landscape Construction Work: Oversee the planning and execution of landscape construction projects, including the supervision of contractors and subcontractors.
  • Maintain Work Records and Logs: Keep accurate records of work completed, including hours worked, materials used, and any issues encountered.
  • Read Blueprints and Drawings: Interpret and understand blueprints and drawings to ensure that projects are completed according to plan.
  • Repair and Maintain Equipment: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to ensure it is in good working order.
  • Supervise Nursery and Greenhouse Workers: Oversee the daily operations of our nursery and greenhouse, including the care and maintenance of plants.
  • Establish Work Schedules and Procedures: Develop and implement procedures for the efficient completion of tasks and projects.
Requirements
  • 3-4 Years of Experience: You will have a minimum of 3-4 years of experience in a supervisory role in landscaping or a related field.
  • Valid Driver's Licence: You will have a valid driver's licence and a reliable vehicle.
  • Physical Demands: You will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be physically able to perform the duties of the role, including standing for extended periods and bending, crouching, and kneeling.

  • Physically Demanding: You will be required to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
