About the Role

Norse Landscapes Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Landscaping Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of our outdoor spaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule and Coordinate Work

Plan and direct the daily activities of our grounds maintenance team, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Lead Grounds Maintenance Team

Supervise and manage a team of 3-4 staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.

Plan and Direct Landscape Construction

Develop and implement plans for landscape construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.

Maintain Work Records and Logs

Ensure that all work records and logs are accurate and up-to-date, including maintenance schedules, equipment usage, and staff performance.

Read Blueprints and Drawings

Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to ensure that all construction projects are completed according to plan.

Repair and Maintain Equipment

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and tools to ensure that they are in good working order.

Supervise Nursery and Greenhouse Workers

Supervise and manage the activities of nursery and greenhouse workers, ensuring that they are following proper procedures and protocols.

Establish Work Schedules and Procedures

Develop and implement work schedules and procedures to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience

3 years to less than 5 years of experience in grounds maintenance or a related field

Language

English
