We are seeking a highly skilled Video AI Algorithm Senior Engineer to join our team at Lenovo.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for researching and developing advanced algorithms for person detection, tracking, and recognition in video conferencing environments.

  • Conduct research and develop algorithms for person detection, tracking, and recognition.
  • Understand and optimize backbone networks to meet specific business requirements.
  • Stay current with cutting-edge computer vision research papers and reproduce relevant advancements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate algorithms into video conferencing solutions.
  • Optimize AI models for performance, considering factors such as speed, accuracy, and resource usage.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of work experience as an engineer.
  • A strong theoretical understanding of image detection, tracking, and recognition algorithms.
  • Proficiency in deep learning principles, specifically RNN and CNN.
  • Experience with AI model training and deep learning architecture.
  • Solid software development skills, particularly in Python or C++.

The estimated salary for this position is around $180,000 per year, considering the location and industry standards.
