**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide information, assistance, and service to customers in a manner that promotes the sale of merchandise and meets their needs and expectations.
  • Maintain a neat, clean, and orderly department at all times, including general housekeeping duties.
  • Order, receive, and display merchandise as directed by the Agro Sales Manager/Agro Centre Manager, adhering to Saskatoon Co-op policies and procedures.
  • Operate the point of sale terminal and prepare daily cash reconciliations when required.
  • Care for and perform periodic repair/servicing of grain augers, equipment rental units, and other assigned equipment.
  • Travel to other agro locations as requested to support sales and customer service efforts.
  • Familiarize yourself with and adhere to Saskatoon Co-op policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Agro Sales Manager/Agro Centre Manager.

**Qualifications:**

  • Strong service orientation and motivation, with the ability to serve and assist customers in a courteous and efficient manner.
  • Previous farm or agricultural experience with proven mechanical ability, preferably with farm and agricultural equipment.
  • Prior forklift experience is an asset.
  • Proficiency in cash register operations.
  • Sufficient knowledge, experience, and physical ability to handle and merchandise all products carried in the department.
  • Ability to increase product knowledge and improve selling techniques through special courses, product clinics, and seminars.
  • Flexibility to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.

**Note:** A combination of relevant education and experience may be considered.
