About the Role:

The Care Support role at Kindred Home Care is a vital part of our team, providing support to our caregivers, clients, and their families. As a Care Support Associate, you will be the hub of communication, coordinating service delivery and daily scheduling support. You will work remotely from home, logging calls and serving as the frontline of customer support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate service delivery and daily scheduling support
  • Communicate effectively with staff, clients, and families on schedule challenges
  • Answer a high volume of phone calls, emails, and system tasks
  • Provide general administrative support and data entry
  • Establish genuine connections with caregivers, clients, and regional teams
  • Maintain accurate schedules and caregiver availability records
  • Provide clarity and identify potential risks

Requirements:

  • Comfort with technology
  • Excellent critical thinking, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Effective relationship-building skills, outstanding communication, and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to think quickly and re-prioritize tasks in an ever-changing environment
  • Experience in scheduling is considered an asset
  • Experience with Salesforce is considered an asset
  • Ability to work from home with minimal supervision
  • Positive, flexible, and reliable

Working Hours:

The Care Support role provides support for our 24/7 operations and will share the responsibility of weekend and holiday coverage through pre-booked scheduled shifts and on-call support. It is expected that the team will also share responsibility for last-minute coverage support as required.
