About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Operations Manager to join our team at JWK Corporation Canada. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the logistics and supply chain operations of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Logistics Planning and Coordination
    • Develop and implement logistics plans to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods and services
    • Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth logistics operations
  • Supply Chain Management
    • Manage inventory levels, track shipments, and monitor supply chain performance
    • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
  • Operational Oversight
    • Supervise a team of logistics coordinators and ensure they have the necessary resources and support
    • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to logistics and supply chain operations
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and customer service teams
    • Collaborate with external partners, such as carriers, brokers, and suppliers
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics and supply chain operations
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
    • Proficiency in logistics and supply chain software, such as dispatch management systems
