As a Lead UX Researcher, you will create an Experience Vision for The Globe, and apply order and automation to our UX research operations and practice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze, organize, and apply systems to automate our UX research operations
  • Dig into our existing research and data to map the complete user journey across all touchpoints
  • Communicate your findings to The Globe's executive team, the Product Design team, and leaders in Editorial, Marketing, and Revenue on a regular basis
  • Mentor our product design team to level up their research skills
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in UX, with significant experience in UX research
  • Your passion for user experience and design thinking
  • A strong desire to be innovative within the news, content publishing, and media industry
  • Experience optimizing a research library (we use Airtable), best-practices research techniques, and templates, and systems to socialize findings
  • Experience working with data and metrics
  • Proven ability to translate both qualitative and quantitative insights to innovation in user experience
  • A positive attitude that embraces diversity and inclusion in the workplace: you have a learning mindset and take initiative to act on feedback and information
  • Extensive experience using research tools such as Airtable, Miro, Google Suite, or Microsoft
