Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at MANPASAND INDIAN CUISINE INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our culinary team and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Develop and implement new recipes to enhance our menu offerings and stay competitive in the market.
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure they are equipped to prepare and cook high-quality dishes.
  • Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities to meet the demands of our restaurants.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences for weddings, banquets, and specialty functions.
  • Plan menus and ensure that food meets our quality standards.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to maintain high standards of food safety and quality.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment with a team of 3-4 people. The role requires the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Work Hours:

The successful candidate will work 30 hours per week.
