Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Restaurant Team Leader to join our team at Subway Sandwiches and Salads. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading and developing a high-performing team to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales growth.

About the Role

This is a permanent position, approximately 35-44 hours per week, requiring a secondary school graduation certificate and 7 months to less than 1 year experience in a similar role. You will be working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will be required to stand for extended periods.

Main Responsibilities
  • Establish work schedules and ensure efficient use of resources
  • Supervise and co-ordinate staff who prepare and portion food, maintaining quality control standards
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment
  • Estimate ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring accuracy and minimizing waste
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business decisions
  • Prepare and submit reports, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require excellent oral communication skills, efficient interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. You must also be physically demanding and able to adapt to changing circumstances.

Benefits
