Restaurant Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at Empress of India Restaurant. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food and beverage offerings meet the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
- Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms to maintain accurate financial records.
- Conduct performance reviews to evaluate the performance of team members and provide feedback for improvement.
- Cost products and services to ensure that we are operating within budget and making a profit.
- Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that we have the necessary supplies to meet customer demand.
- Ensure that health and safety regulations are followed to maintain a safe working environment.
- Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies to ensure the best prices and quality.
- Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities to ensure that we are meeting their needs.
- Participate in marketing plans and implementation to promote our restaurant and increase sales.
- Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Provide customer service to ensure that our customers have a positive experience.
- Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure that our restaurant is running smoothly and efficiently.
You will be responsible for supervising a team of 3-4 people, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are meeting their responsibilities and performing at their best.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:This is a fast-paced environment that requires you to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. You will be required to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads. You must be physically demanding and able to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
