Kitchen Operations Manager

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Kitchen Manager to join our team at 1559778 Ontario Inc. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, maintaining high standards of quality and service, and leading a team of cooks and kitchen staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish and implement efficient kitchen procedures and systems to meet production demands and maintain high standards of quality and service.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, including cooks, dishwashers, and other support staff.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing waste.
- Train and develop kitchen staff, including new hires and existing employees, to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring accurate ordering and minimizing waste.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Prepare and submit reports on kitchen operations, including inventory management, food costs, and labor productivity.
- Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of food to customers.
- 1-2 years of experience in a kitchen management role, preferably in a fast-paced restaurant or café environment.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and relevant training or certification in food safety and handling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team of kitchen staff.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a hot kitchen environment.
