About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Pizza Cook to join our team at Red Swan Pizza. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality pizzas to meet the demands of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Determine the size of food portions and costs, requisition food and kitchen supplies, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Kitchen Operations: Inspect kitchens and food service areas, train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and manage kitchen operations.
  • Supply Chain Management: Order supplies and equipment, and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery of essential items.
  • Team Leadership: Train and supervise kitchen staff, and promote a culture of teamwork and excellence in food preparation and presentation.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This is a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks. You must be able to work in a team setting and be physically able to lift and move heavy objects.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a kitchen or food service environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 35 hours per week.
