Director Service Operations

Downtownwindsor is proud to partner with ENWIN Utilities Ltd. to deliver exceptional service to our customers. We are seeking a highly skilled Director Service Operations to lead our Technical Services, Metering, and Billing functions.

The successful candidate will report to the Chief Risk Officer and be responsible for overseeing the development, recommendation, and implementation of approved meter-to-cash strategies for electricity and water. This includes providing strategic advice and tactical support to all levels of management on Technical Services, Metering, and Billing matters.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of ten years' experience in the Technical Services, Metering, or Billing field, with five years at a senior-level role. A university degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Technology, or a related discipline is required. Professional Engineer (P. Eng) is considered an asset.

The Director Service Operations will lead a team of managerial and supervisory resources, prepare and manage business plans, and correspond departmental budgets. The successful applicant must have strong skills in writing business/technical reports, including executive and board of director level reporting. Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and dispute-resolution skills are also essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the development and implementation of approved meter-to-cash strategies for electricity and water.
