Job Summary

The Janitor Room Supply House Ltd. is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the management of our operations and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Management: Assist in the management of staff, including assigning duties, providing guidance and support, and ensuring that staff are equipped to perform their roles effectively.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities for growth, and provide recommendations to senior management.
  • Merchandise and Services: Assist in the selection and procurement of merchandise and services, and ensure that they meet the company's quality and pricing standards.
  • Marketing Strategies: Assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies to promote the company's products and services.
  • Financial Management: Assist in the planning and management of budgets, and ensure that revenues and expenses are monitored and controlled effectively.
  • Recruitment and Training: Assist in the recruitment and training of staff, and ensure that they are equipped to perform their roles effectively.
  • Operational Planning: Assist in the planning and management of daily operations, including ensuring that tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English as the primary language of communication.
  • 35 to 40 hours per week.
