Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will assist in the management of various projects, providing technical expertise and problem-solving skills. This role will work closely with our Senior Project Managers to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Coordination - Assist in the coordination of projects, including submittal review, constructability review, and on-site management.
- Financial Management - Assist in the management of project finances, including budgeting, invoicing, and financial reporting.
- Contract Management - Assist in the management of contracts with trade partners and suppliers.
- Project Documentation - Assist in the preparation and maintenance of project documentation, including schedules, meeting minutes, and change orders.
- Client Interface - Assist in the management of client relationships, including attending meetings and communicating project updates.
Requirements
- Education - Post-secondary education in a construction-related field, such as engineering or architecture.
- Experience - 5+ years of experience in a construction-related role, preferably in a project management or coordination position.
- Skills - Strong technical knowledge of construction processes and procedures, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
