Job Summary:

The Durham Catholic District School Board is seeking a highly qualified French Language Teacher to join our team. As a French Language Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching French as a second language to students in a primary/junior and/or junior/intermediate setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to promote language acquisition and cultural understanding
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction to meet individual needs
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues

Requirements:

  • Certification in good standing from the Ontario College of Teachers
  • Primary/Junior and/or Junior/Intermediate Basic Qualifications
  • French as a Second Language Part 1 Required
