We are seeking a highly qualified French Language Teacher to join our team at the Durham Catholic District School Board. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching French as a Second Language to students in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and supportive classroom environment
- Stay up-to-date with curriculum developments and best practices in French as a Second Language education
Requirements:
- Certification in good standing from the Ontario College of Teachers
- Intermediate Basic Qualifications in French as a Second Language Part 1
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
