Job Summary:

The Durham Catholic District School Board is seeking a qualified French as a Second Language Teacher to fill a Long-Term Occasional (LTO) position. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated educator to join our team and make a positive impact on the lives of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach French as a Second Language to elementary students
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly

Requirements:

  • Certification in good standing from the Ontario College of Teachers
  • Primary/Junior and/or Junior/Intermediate Basic Qualifications
  • French as a Second Language Part 1 Required
