Job Title: French Language Teacher Position

We are seeking a qualified French Language Teacher to join our team at the Durham Catholic District School Board.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching French as a Second Language to students in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to meet the needs of students with varying learning styles and abilities.
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction to ensure students meet the curriculum standards.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative and supportive learning environment.
  • Stay current with curriculum developments and best practices in French as a Second Language education.
Requirements:
  • Certification in good standing from the Ontario College of Teachers.
  • Intermediate Basic Qualifications in French as a Second Language Part 1.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
