About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Continuing Care Assistant to join our team at ParaMed Home Health Care. As a Continuing Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals in their homes by providing personal care and assistance with daily tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care to patients, including grooming, dressing, bathing, and other essential tasks.
- Travel from patient to patient, completing multiple home visits per day.
- Prepare meals and assist with mealtime, ensuring patients receive the nutrition they need.
- Perform basic housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Provide companionship and support to patients, promoting their overall well-being.
- Assist with personal hygiene care, including showering and bathing.
- Support patients with basic activities of daily living, such as dressing, grooming, and mobility.
Requirements:
- Experience in providing personal care is required.
- Access to a vehicle and a valid driver's license and insurance is strongly preferred.
- Ability to pass or satisfy a Criminal Background screening upon hire.
- A passion for making a difference in your community.
