About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Continuing Care Assistant to join our team at ParaMed Home Health Care. As a Continuing Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals in their homes by providing personal care and assistance with daily tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care to patients, including grooming, dressing, bathing, and other essential tasks.
  • Travel from patient to patient, completing multiple home visits per day.
  • Prepare meals and assist with mealtime, ensuring patients receive the nutrition they need.
  • Perform basic housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment.
  • Provide companionship and support to patients, promoting their overall well-being.
  • Assist with personal hygiene care, including showering and bathing.
  • Support patients with basic activities of daily living, such as dressing, grooming, and mobility.

Requirements:

  • Experience in providing personal care is required.
  • Access to a vehicle and a valid driver's license and insurance is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to pass or satisfy a Criminal Background screening upon hire.
  • A passion for making a difference in your community.
