We are seeking a skilled Logistics Operations Coordinator to join our team at Kelly Services, Inc.
Job Summary:
This is a 6-month contract position with the potential for extension. As a Logistics Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of transportation logistics, including inputting and retrieving load data, reviewing fleet and carrier availability, communicating with relevant parties, tracking cross-border shipments, and maintaining compliance with designated destinations.
Responsibilities:
- Input and retrieve load data in appropriate systems to ensure accurate information sharing.
- Review load information to identify ability to complete by reviewing fleet and carrier availability.
- Communicate with relevant parties to share accurate information according to established protocols and systems.
- Track and trace cross-border shipments and ensure compliance with designated destinations.
- Ensure issues are resolved timely, changes are updated and communicated, and provide ongoing insights and analysis.
- Maintain high involvement to ensure prompt receipt and delivery to and from customers.
- Update all systems, both internal and external, as per established timelines.
Requirements:
- Experience with fleet management and carrier coordination.
- Knowledge of cross-border regulations and documentation requirements is an asset.
- Educational background in Supply Chain Management is an asset.
- Strong MS Office Suite skills and ability to learn new systems.
- Ability to quickly react and problem solve in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with accuracy.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Availability to work Tuesday-Saturday 9:00am-5:30pm or Sunday-Thursday 8:00am-4:30pm (with one day of remote work).
What We Offer:
- An estimated annual salary range of $45,696 - $60,046 based on a 35-hour workweek.
- Weekly pay via direct deposit.
- A 6-month contract with potential for extension.
