Logistics Coordinator Job Opening

Pivotal Integrated HR Solutions is currently searching for a Supply Chain Coordinator to join their team in the tri-city area. As a key member of our logistics department, this role requires an individual with strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively manage daily local deliveries and negotiations with various carriers.

About the Job

  • The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management.
  • A high school diploma/GED and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, and Excel) are required.
  • This role also requires working knowledge of legal regulations, Ontario Highway Traffic Act, and hours of service requirements.
  • We are looking for someone who can independently handle multiple projects and has excellent communication, negotiating, and customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Negotiate with carriers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
  • Schedule daily local deliveries while adhering to tight deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports related to logistics operations.
