Salary
$85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description
This role will report to the General Manager. As a Logistics Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for scheduling plant production, maintaining inventory accuracy, and managing supply chain initiatives to meet supplier & customer needs. Key responsibilities include monitoring and maintaining inventory at appropriate levels, scheduling plant production to meet customer delivery requirements, and leading a team of Shippers / Receivers. You will also be responsible for procuring new sources of supply with a cost optimization mindset, creating internal work instructions, and focusing on continuous improvement of current procedures/processes. Additionally, you will negotiate prices, terms, and prepare comparable tables, keep detailed records of quotes, purchase orders, contracts amongst others, and manage multiple warehousing locations. This position requires strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work with multiple personalities. Experience with negotiating price and contract points is an asset. The physical requirements of this job must be met, including the ability to lift up to 40 lbs, bend, stoop or reach with arms, climb or balance, kneel, crouch, and wear required PPE. The work environment is 60% office and 40% plant floor (PPE required).

- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Willingness to perform internal audits
- Ability to work with multiple personalities
- Ability to stay calm during difficult conversations with clients
- Experience with negotiating price and contract points is an asset
- Computer skill including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.) and other interfaces as SharePoint, Teams/Zoom, and MS Project
