We are seeking a dedicated and talented individual to join our team as a Senior Quotation Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing professional quotations for industrial projects, managing the end-to-end proposal process, and collaborating with diverse teams to create solutions that support new streams of revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce complete, accurate, and on-time proposals based on plans and specifications.
  • Proactively quote alternates to better position Siemens.
  • Customer communication and support, including price and product feedback on both commercial and technical issues.
  • Closing orders using selling skills and technical expertise.
  • Coordinating with third-party providers/partners and negotiating contractual requirements.
  • Supporting Siemens' internal bid approval process, including legal reviews and NDA's.
  • Providing risk analysis and mitigation for the bid proposal.
  • Coordinating bid submissions with sales, plants, distributors, and cross-business units.
  • Evaluating incoming bids for Go/No Go decisions.
  • Providing technical assistance and attending project review meetings.
  • Applying engineering theory to offer the ultimate solution to the customer.
  • Working as a liaison to consulting companies to clarify projects and validate/endorse Siemens' proposed technical solutions.
  • Providing proposals to meet customer requirements in a timely manner and managing changes throughout the bid proposal lifecycle.
  • Providing technical support in change orders and project execution.

Requirements:

  • Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
  • Technical experience in Power Distribution products and solutions.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience working in an industrial field.
  • Experience with proposals for complex solutions in a regulated environment.
  • Experience with bidding complex solutions that require customization to meet customer requirements.
  • Ability to read specifications and engineering single-line schematics and drawings.
  • Experience in handling large industrial projects, such as Hospitals and Data Centers.
  • Ability to prepare technical proposals with engineering solutions to support sales.
  • Highly self-motivated, focused, flexible, and adaptable.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a passion for excellence and continuous learning.
  • Bilingual in English and French, written and spoken, is highly desirable.
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada without corporate sponsorship.
