Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Senior Network Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Juniper network solutions and a strong understanding of routing and switching protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day support of LAN/WAN, authentication, upgrades, Juniper router implementations, and network activities to support the business and provide support for deployed solutions.
- Degree/Diploma with a focus on Computer Science: JNCP certification an asset
- Excellent English language skills; articulate with strong documentation skills
- 5 to 7 years of direct, recent, and hands-on working experience heavily focused on Juniper technology
- Solid experience working with Routing and Switching
- Strong working knowledge of firewall concepts
- Experience with Juniper switches/routers
- Good working knowledge of network architecture and security
- Good knowledge of the following protocols: TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, IPSec, GRE, HSRP, SNMP, and PPP, as well as routing protocols EIGRP and OSPF
- Good understanding of Juniper products, firewalls, ACS
- Good knowledge of IP telephony
- Good knowledge of network analysis and surveillance tools, diagnosis
- Good knowledge of network best practices (LAN/WAN, DMZ, security, etc)
- Project implementations experience/team lead skills are an asset
