We're seeking a highly skilled Staff Engineer to join our Identity Access Management (IAM) Engineering team.

As the Staff Engineer, you'll be the lead engineer within the IAM space for Fullscript. This role will involve leading multiple projects simultaneously, crafting the roadmap, auditing and ensuring the health of the domain, and hands-on engineering of IAM solutions.

You'll work closely with other technical leads and engineers on the product and security team to solve complex problems on our fast-growing platform, specifically our sign-up & login page and OAuth flow.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the IAM Engineering team and work collaboratively with other engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Propose, discuss, and refine new features and functionality with the team.
  • Identify gaps in the current IAM process and suggest improvements.
  • Serve as the organizational spokesperson for IAM-related activities.
  • Work with Tech Leads, Director of Engineering, Security, and Legal to maintain a quarterly view of defined, prioritized, and scoped work.
  • Plan and architect projects, leading design discussions and decisions.
  • Contribute to the code base and work alongside engineers to take projects to completion.
Requirements:
  • Passion for IAM and security, with a focus on directory services, SSO technologies, MFA solutions, and RBAC.
  • Experience working on high-scale web applications.
  • 5+ years of experience in software development with a modern full-tech stack, including Ruby, Rails, React, JavaScript, Graphql, and Apollo.
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with a focus on fostering a culture of high psychological safety.
