About the Role
We are seeking a Technical Lead for our Identity Access Management Engineering team. As the Technical Lead, you will play a critical role in shaping the technical direction and architecture of our e-commerce platform, specifically our sign-up & login page and our OAuth flow.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead our IAM Engineering team, guiding and mentoring full-stack engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Serve as the organizational spokesperson for IAM-related activities, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders.
- Manage and grow your team of developers, providing guidance and support to direct reports.
- Work with the Director of Engineering, Security, and Legal to maintain a quarterly view of defined, prioritized, and scoped work.
- Plan and architect projects, leading design discussions and decisions to ensure technical excellence.
- Contribute to the code base and work alongside engineers to take projects over the finish line.
- Collaborate with other Technical Leaders across product engineering, infrastructure, security, and more.
Requirements
- Experience leading a full-stack software development team, with a passion for IAM and Security.
- Knowledge of directory services, Single Sign-On technologies, multi-factor authentication solutions, and role-based access control.
- Passion for fostering strong engineering practices and processes, with a focus on high-scale web applications.
- 5+ years of experience in software development with a modern full-tech stack, including Ruby, Rails, React, JavaScript, Graphql, and Apollo.
